Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 September 2026

These terms apply to the use of Collexall — Music Edition. By using the application, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms.

1. Purpose

Collexall is a collection-management application for physical music media, including CDs, vinyl records, music DVDs and music Blu-rays. Features may include barcode scanning, metadata lookup, Discogs integration, collection statistics, locations, loans, ratings and import/export tools.

2. Your collection data

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter or import and for maintaining appropriate backups. Collexall may assist with metadata retrieval, but third-party metadata can contain errors, omissions or differences between editions.

3. Third-party services

Some features depend on third-party services, principally Discogs. Their availability, data, rate limits, authentication requirements and terms may change independently of Collexall.

Collexall uses the Discogs API but is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Discogs. Discogs data, names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

4. Synchronisation

When you enable account synchronisation, actions may affect both the local Collexall database and your connected third-party account. Collexall is designed to protect destructive operations with confirmations where practical, but you should maintain backups and review synchronisation results.

5. Import and export

CSV and other import/export tools are provided for convenience and bulk editing. You are responsible for reviewing import previews and ensuring the source file contains the intended changes before confirming an import.

6. No guarantee of valuation

Any purchase price, estimated value, Discogs collection value, price suggestion or market-related figure is informational only. It is not a professional appraisal, guaranteed resale value or financial advice.

7. Availability and changes

Collexall is under active development. Features, supported services and technical requirements may change. The developer may modify, replace or discontinue features where necessary for maintenance, security, compatibility or product development.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use Collexall to infringe third-party rights, circumvent service restrictions, abuse external APIs, distribute unlawful content or interfere with the operation of connected services.

9. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Collexall is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No guarantee is made that every release will be identified correctly, that every third-party service will remain available, or that the application will be completely free from defects.

10. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not responsible for indirect loss arising from unavailable third-party services, incorrect third-party metadata, user-edited imports, device failure, loss of local data without backup, or user-authorised changes made to connected accounts.

11. Intellectual property

Collexall branding, original interface design and original application code are owned by the developer unless otherwise stated. Third-party names, artwork, metadata, libraries and trademarks remain subject to their respective licences and ownership.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country of residence.

13. Developer

Collexall — Music Edition is developed and owned by Gil Pereira, Portugal.
